Updated on October 22, 2026.

This page lists the cookies and similar technologies used on Tik Mobiles (tikmobiles.com), who stores each one, what they are used for, and how you control these choices. It complements the Privacy Policy, which includes the data controller, the legal bases, and your rights under the LGPD and GDPR.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage and device identifiers, do the same job: they remember a choice or recognize the browser on the next visit.

2. Necessary cookies

They keep the site running and save your choices. They are not for advertising.

  • Language (trp_language). Recorded by TranslatePress to remember which version of the site you chose.
  • Consent. Google's consent platform (Funding Choices) saves the answer given in the notice displayed to those accessing the site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, so as not to repeat the question on each page.
  • Security (__cf_bm). When Cloudflare protection is active on the domain, this cookie separates people from robots. It expires in about 30 minutes.
  • WordPress dashboard. Session cookies are created only for those who log in to the administration panel. Readers do not receive these cookies.

3. Advertising cookies

Tik Mobiles is free because it displays ads. These ads are served by Google Ad Manager and Google AdSense and hosted by SpotAds. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) and device identifiers to show ads, count impressions, limit ad repetition, and prevent fraud. Where permitted by law and your choice, these cookies also personalize ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Advertisers and networks participating in Google auctions may set their own cookies, subject to their own policies.

To turn off customization, use the Google Ads Settings. To understand how Google handles this data, read How Google uses cookies in advertising. The ads will still appear; they just stop using your browsing history.

4. Measuring website ads on Facebook and Instagram

Many readers arrive at Tik Mobiles through ads on the site's Facebook and Instagram. To determine which of these ads bring in visits, the site uses the Meta Pixel, loaded by the SpotAds script, and sends the same navigation events (page views, button clicks, and interactions with page ads) via the Meta Conversions API.

Cookies are included in this measurement. _fbp It is _fbc, from Meta, a random identifier recorded by the site itself (sa_eidAnd, when they already exist in the browser, approximate location cookies (city, region, zip code and country).
